Are chat bots allowed on TrueWoW? That is, something that lets you log on to your character just to be able to see and reply to chat channels - nothing that would actually play the game for you.
A lot of people use WoW as a glorified chat room when it's not prime raiding time (myself included). It would make afking in Dala less CPU and memory intensive, and I know for me personally would help me see when raids are forming and I could join.
WoW Chat Client Allowed?
Re: WoW Chat Client Allowed?
As far as I can see logging into a program that will just chat (you the user has to be chatting cant be a program just siting there talking for you) isnt against the rules in my book. Though i would see what other staff think as well.
P.S. PM me what program you have in mind

I don't have problems with this. There's Michail's mini wow or whatever it was, prodigy asked me to compile it once
Re: WoW Chat Client Allowed?
Doesn't look harmful to me. It would be nice if we could have an App like retail's WoW Armory that lets you chat and access many features from your phone.

I didn't have any in mind yet, though I know some exist. I was thinking of rolling my own.Heihachi wrote:As far as I can see logging into a program that will just chat (you the user has to be chatting cant be a program just siting there talking for you) isnt against the rules in my book.
