Is there a list of stairs and such one should avoid? I got randomly killed when walking down this thing.

I got to 80. When I try to claim the mount on the homepage, it says "Character not eligible".

When I logged into my IM shaman it said I was disqualified for using an enchanted item? Any way this can get looked into? I know she's only level 12, but I want to see what I did wrong specifically so I don't do it again next time.
