What bothers me more is the "Armory" instead of "Armoury".
Feeling as though I've infringed your right to freedom of speech?

"Armory" is the everything-but-British spelling of the word.
Just like Color/Colour, Honor/Honour, Behaviour/Behavior, Flavor/Flavour, whereas "Strength" is the correct word in most, if not all variations of English.

The original spelling was without the "u". The "u" was a French touch added later on by someone who liked it better that way.
If we were to go to this extent then maybe we should also change all z-sounds (like Realize/Realization) to s-sounds (Realise/Realisation) and also allow ti-sounds like "Connection" to be spelt "Connexion" :)

Personally I think words looks better without the "u", exception being the word "Neighbour".
